Nestling behind the sand dunes of the sleepy Goan fishing village of Mandrem you will find the Villa Rivercat, situated in between ocean and river.
The villa is the vision of Anne-Maria and Rinoo Sehgal, both creative
minds, travelers and friends of animals, Anne-Maria, an artist, and their daughter Sareka. Arriving on the site in 1990 all that lay before them was a beautiful river creek flowing into the Arabian sea. Anne-Maria and Rinoo, inspired by the surrounding nature, began to design and build a spacious retreat from local stone and wood. Their dream was of a tranquil environment firstly to have their small home in there but later it was opened to travelers and visitors: a space for creativity, good atmosphere and rest.
